What do you want to convey about the place in the photo? What is the purpose of the shot? Once I know your brief, I will use clever angles, depth and perspective, lighting and, of course, a little digital mastery and magic, to capture the building looking its very best.
Architectural photography is all about lighting and angles. Being in the right place to take the shot can convey space, light, character, coolness, warmth, the “wow factor”, whatever it is you want to highlight about the property, either inside or out.
Construction photography has many uses, not just for the success of a transformation, the big reveal or a “Before and After”, but in following and plotting the progress of a project, capturing that “unseen footage” behind the scenes. Construction images are often extremely cost-effective, used for many years after the shoot took place, on websites and for advertising and marketing.
Whether new builds, refurbishments, office blocks, residential properties, interiors, exteriors, civil engineering structures or public places, my eye for the angles, the details and the bigger picture will produce beautiful photographs to capture the essence of the location.
“Every building must have its own soul.” Louis Kahn (Architect).
