Most professional men and women are brilliant at what they do and are very capable within their work environments, be it a university lecturer, a bank director, a biomedical scientist, or a legal eagle. But put them in front of a big shiny Nikon with lights and reflectors, some people can literally freeze on the spot. Going by my endorsements (I wouldn’t be as cheeky as to say it myself), I’m disarming, approachable and even funny when taking people’s headshots and portraits, I am especially sensitive and understanding if the subject is worried about their look. I will always show you the Images during the shoot to relieve any nerves. Usually, the client’s response to seeing their photos is of surprise saying that they didn’t realise they could look that good.
I have a purpose made mobile studio compromising of high-end lighting, modifiers. reflectors and backdrops, so that you and your staff don’t have to leave the comfort of your office for your business and corporate headshots and portraits.
Depending on your requirements, we can create impressive headshots and portraits on plain white, grey or moody black backdrops or if you want to give a bit more depth to your image we can do branding style portraits showing you and your staff in your natural work environment, be that a city office or a massive engineering facility.

How we work.
You get what is best for you. sometimes a bit more, never less.
I say “we” because I see this as a Mutual journey of creation with you the client being the centre of attention. I don’t just show up and take some pretty photos. I will always work with you from the very start of the project.
Once we have decided what you need from the photography.
I will provide a transparent and competitive quote that is based on the time required for the shoot, I don’t use confusing and non-transparent packages that often provide you with one size fits all but doesn’t quite fit you.
Agree on location of the photography shoot
Once we agree on what you need and the costings, we decide a time and place that works for you. Once the photography is completed you will usually get the images back within 24-48 hours, depending on the quantities involved. I will only invoice you after you have received the images, payment is within 14 days.
We will discuss what you want to achieve from the Photography
After our initial call or email, we will discuss in detail your requirements, be it headshots, product shots or workplace images. The most important issue is what you want to achieve with the photographic images, this issue can often be overlooked. You won’t always need amazing and stunning images, for instance, for a catalogue you might only need simple product shots or pack shots on a white or transparent background but if the shot is for a beautiful new product launch and you really do want to blow the competition away, then a more captivating image will be needed.

I am based in Reading, Berkshire
Where I work is one of the most frequently asked questions. Geographically I am based in Reading Berkshire, so naturally a lot of my work gravitates to within about an hour’s drive from Berkshire. However, I do often travel further afield if the client needs something a bit more specific that they can’t source locally. My most visited location is London, providing corporate headshots and portraits for financial corporations and banks that demand quality images with fast turnaround times and competitive out of London prices. I do a lot of work for the scientific and medical sectors in Oxfordshire.
Most of my industrial and engineering photography takes place in the midlands and further north. Depending on the assignment I am happy to travel to wherever I’m needed, including Europe where I have shot Oilfields in Poland, Diplomats in Bucharest and factories in Sweden and Holland.
More specifically, I have worked down drains in London providing images for a sewer cleaning company, hung out of helicopters taking air to air shots for an aircraft leasing client and abseiled down cliff faces taking shots for corporate team building days. I do like a challenge, so locations and circumstances don’t usually cause an issue, quite the opposite.
